Connor Ivany is a 24-year-old graduate of the 4-year Sustainable Agriculture and World Food System Program at Trent University. He has been farming for 12 years since grade 7 where his first job was grading corn. He cannot wait to get into the topics of permaculture, soil fertility, feeding the soil and how all of these can be used in home gardening. “It’s hard to find young agrarians out there, but we are and this is how we are thinking. We want to sustain agriculture for future generations.”
